SURPRISE

HERES THE CHARACTERS WE'RE LETTING IN THIS MONTH

NEW PEOPLE )

These characters will all be going in at roughly the same time – presumably there'll be roughly an hour or two between each one. Check this post if you need your memory jogging about how player entry goes down! Now would be a good time to get in contact with the person playing your character's server player, so you can work out a bit about how their entry into the game went. This post can also be used for brainstorming about character entry, if you want to make use of it that way! Additionally, we have a pre-entry pesterlog free-for-all post on [community profile] pesterlogs, where you can, if you so desire, thread out initial contact between your character and their Server or Client. It is totally optional! (For additional optional wacky shenanigans, you might want to drop onto the most recent alchemy meme.)

Once you have some idea of how you're handwaving their entry, you can just assume that they're freshly into the Medium, having prototyped their sprite and broken their entry item. You can (and perhaps should!) check out this post from the first app round for more details about what happens once you actually enter. If you're having trouble with anything feel free to poke a mod or drop into chat (chatcrammed on AIM – ask for an invite if you need one).

If you are unhappy with the dream self assignment your character has received, feel free to say so – if you'd rather your character dreamt on Derse than Prospit, or vice versa, we will be more than happy to change that around for you!

THIS WAS A JOKE)

Hey guys! It's come to my attention that a couple things probably bear saying, so I'm making a quick post here to get them across

1) For a Denizen encounter to by considered done, there must be a written representation of it posted to game comms.

It doesn't have to be an epic, multi-player log or a ten page story. It can be a simple solo log, a one on one scene taking place directly afterwards that deals with it directly, or like 500 words of intense stream of consciousness blathering for all it matters. What's important is that you CANNOT JUST HANDWAVE IT. Complete handwaving is not allowed.

2) We are working with a timelimit here - both a OOC one and an IC one.

The last week has been pretty friggin dead over all, which is sort of disheartening considering it's the first week of a month long deadline before the final battle of Jarjammed really begins. This is your time to be building plot and getting ready for character finales - please take advantage of this time while you have it. Fight denizens, cause drama! This is probably going to be your last bit of relative peace before the game ends completely.

That said, if you are doing a Prospit investigation you need to talk to the mods and work out when you're doing it! It's been a week since we were contacted by anyone about doing scenes, and only two of them have actually been completed. If your scene hasn't been sorted out by the end of the week their participation is either going to be handwaved or it will be said that your character wasn't in attendance at all.

As usual, questions and concerns below! Thanks.

ON THE SUBJECT OF DENIZENS Signless's Denizen log has just gone up! Anyone can be there - Signless was willing to take a crew along just to get some experience with Denizen fights. He's basically got things handled but you may come along to get dicked around a bit by a huge snake if you so desire.

Behold.
